Spend a wonderful evening learning more about the night sky above the Orlando area at the Dark Sky Festival.  This year’s festival focuses on educating the public about the effects of light pollution on the areas wildlife as well as regular residents.  The town of Harmony where this event will take place has new ordinances that now require new lighting to protect the dark sky. 

There is something for the whole family at this event with live music and a cosmic kids zone.  There will be astronomers around to answer questions as well as telescopes set up around the event so you can check out the night sky.  Come out and learn more about protecting our night sky in Orlando and enjoy this family fun event.
