Currently the district of Orange County Public Schools serve more than 181,000 students in 70 schools. In the past year, Orange County schools have seen students that come from 169 countries and speak 133 different languages. Magnet programs have been put in place in 13 of the district’s 17 high schools, including the prestigious International Baccalaureate program in 3 of the high schools.
Located in one of the top tourist destinations, the district enjoys the benefits of maintaining business partnerships with Disney, Sea World & others. The PTA (parent teacher association) – http://www.occpta.org/ and SAC (student advisory committee) are just some of the local groups that are involved in making these schools a better place for our teachers and students.
