365 Orlando: 85. July 4th Events Around Orlando

Looking for something to do this July 4th around Orlando? Here a few options of activities in and around Orlando. The City of Winter Park will present its annual Olde Fashioned 4th of July Celebration at Central Park. This celebration has it all live music, horse-drawn wagon rides, the Orlando cloggers, and the Rockin’ Roadster Road Show. Be sure to bring your blanket or beach chair and a picnic lunch for this fun event on July 3rd from 9 am to 1pm. You can head out to Orlando to the 1st annual 4th of July bash at Baldwin Park, where there will be vendors staged along the street on July 3rd from 5 pm – 9:30pm. On July 4th head out to Lake Eola in downtown Orlando for an afternoon of food, fun and music. The fun starts at 4pm and the fireworks begin at 9:15 pm.

365 Orlando: 84. Celebrate July 4th with Fireworks at one of the Theme Parks

Check out the fireworks displays around Orlando this July 4th. The theme parks will be lighting up the sky with fireworks shows at three of the Disney parks, Sea World and Universal Studios. The fireworks start at Magic Kingdom at 9pm followed by the “Main Street Electrical Parade” of lights, music and magic at 10 p.m. Disney’s Hollywood Studio’s start theirs at 9:50 pm to a rock n roll soundtrack. Epcot’s normal fireworks will be supplemented with a patriotic finale which starts at 10 pm. At Sea World you can enjoy the 13th Army Band perform at Bayside Stadium before the fireworks, the performance starts at 9:45 pm. If you want something a little different, this year head out to Universal Studios where they will be putting on a show which includes projection technology with lasers along with pyrotechnics.

365 Orlando: 83. Hang Out at Old Town

Want to see some of the coolest cars in Orlando? Then head on out to Old Town Saturday night for some classic car cruising. They usually have an average of 300 cars from 1974 and earlier cruising around Old Town. You will see hot rods, street rods, and antiques, which will take you back in time. The cruising starts at 8:30 pm but there are so many other things to do at Old Town that you can make a day of it. You can start out with some shopping at the many different stores. Then hit the amusement rides that have something for everyone, like its Happy Days Family Go-Kart Track. They also have rides for the adventurous like the Windstorm Roller Coaster and the Super Shot. Feeling hungry then hit one of the many restaurants for dinner before enjoying the Saturday Nite Cruise. You can also enjoy music from The Dukes this Saturday starting at 7 pm.
