The Sounds of Summer Series starts off with a Vienna Roast on June 28 at 7pm. Head into Downtown Orlando for this wonderful summer music series with the Orlando Philharmonic in the Margeson Theater. You will enjoy the lovely sound of violinist Tamas Kocsis, as soloist, in one of his last performances before he leaves the Orlando area in August. This program will highlight the music of Vienna in the 19th century, during this time period the Viennese believed that life was good no matter what else was going on around them. And this way of thinking was brought to life through music, so come out and enjoy this evening with the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra.
Ever wanted to stomp grapes to help make wine? You can at the Harvest Festival held annually at Lakeridge Winery near Orlando. This festival is fun for the entire family with grape stomping and over 80 local artists and crafters displaying their works. You can also sit back and relax to the live music. The game is played in four quarters with eight players on the field. The ball can bounce off the walls and still be in play.
