November 27th, 2007 by tisnerCelebration Florida Girl Scouts Troop 263 stocking stuffer drive
Celebration Florida Girl Scouts Troop 263 has a great plan for helping with a stocking stuffer stuffer drive from Nov. 26th thru Dec. 7th.
You can help troop 263 from Celebration Florida and help the homeless Osceola school children.
Remember the mission: "Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place." Girl Scouts is the forerunner in the development of self-esteem and leadership skills for girls. We serve girls from Kindergarten through 12th grade. The program teaches girls to value community service and patriotism while learning to become tomorrow’s leaders. Girls participate in a wide range of activities, from singing and crafts to camping and rock climbing while making lifelong friends.
So who are the Celebration Scouts helping?
All items will be donated to the Osceola County School District’s homeless children.
It is easy to help by bringing items to the Celebration Self Storage and Barber and Beauty Emporium from now until Dec. 7th.
What should you bring?
Any size pajamas, socks, coloring books & crayons and small stocking stuffers.
You don’t need to wrap the Celebration Girl Scouts troop 263 will wrap these items. So if you find something you can donate on this list or a small stocking stuffer similiar please come out and donate.
Get out there and help the girl scouts!
