Get your Country On in Orlando at Old Town USA every Sunday!  It’s time to get your truck shined up and put it on display this Sunday at Gone Country!  Registration begins at 4:00pm and the live music and line dancing runs from 6:30pm to 11:00pm.  Stroll around enjoying all the show quality trucks from right here around Orlando.  Grab dinner at one of the many eateries at Old Town.

If you’re like me,  you are always looking for ways to put more hours in your day. I discovered my iPhone has a built-in assistant…Siri! This little utilized and clever feature can make the life of a real estate agent much less complicated.

Here are 5 of my favorite ways to use Siri:

1. Set reminders for locations: Set up your home, work and listing locations and then you can tell Siri “Remind me to take the lock-box when I leave” or “Remind me to install the sign rider when I get to 123 Any Street.”
2. Convert measurements: Much quicker than using a calculator, if your client thinks in metres and you think in feet and inches “How many metres in 120 feet?”
3. Find holidays: Will that closing date fall on a holiday?  Ask Siri.
4. Schedule a meeting with a contact: Quickly add appointments to your calendar, “Schedule a meeting with Jane Smith at 4pm on Wednesday.”  Siri will even email Jane a confirmation.
5. Find a restaurant nearby: Looking for a place to grab a quick lunch? Ask Siri to find the best restaurant for a burger and it will search Yelp for good reviews close to your location.

Come out to Bok Tower Gardens for their Mother’s Day Plant Sale and Concerts on May 11th for two carillon concerts at 1pm & 3pm.  The plant sale will take place at the gift shop.  Some of the discounted plants you will be able to purchase will be roses, salvias, gardenias, hibiscus, flower vines, and much more.  This will be a great opportunity to get your plants for your Orlando yard.
