Let the kids dress up in their costumes and collect candy around the park. Don’t miss the “Boo-To-You” parade which will be lead by the Headless Horseman. Enjoy your favorite Disney characters dress in special Halloween costumes. After all this fun around the park enjoy a special fireworks show. This party is being held through out special areas in the park that will be decorated with special lighting, music and special effects.

Everyone around Orlando is getting a spooky this year including Seaworld. Stop by Seaworld Spooktacular for some spooky fun with the animals. Feel safe bringing your little ghost and goblins to Seaworld for trick or treating through out the park at 14 different treasure station. Dance to a cool beat with the interactive ice DJ in the Frozen Fun Zone. In a town just south of Orlando something truly frightening is lurking down the once lovely trails of Lakeside Park. Dr Daniel LaVene has donated all his scary decorations & props to create the extremely scary Trail of Nightmares. If you get to scared while you are going trough the trail there will be chicken exits that on of the attendants will help you find. If you have younger children in your group don’t worry because there will be a hay bale maze, bounce houses and other family friendly activities. There will be plenty of food vendors at the park if you need a little food to calm your nerves. This is one of the scariest Halloween walks in the Orlando area so don’t miss this one.
The Orlando area is home to wonderful lakes and wet land, what better way to see this wonderful eco system then in an airboat. Take an air boat ride with the on of the tour guides at Black Hammock Adventures. Their tour guides are more than just guides, they specialize in locating alligators. Be sure to bring you camera to catch one of the “big ones” sunning on the bank. After your tour don’t miss the wildlife exhibit, where you can see alligators and ball python. You can relax on the deck at the Lazy Gator Bar.

The body snatchers are coming to the Orlando area for you. Tomorrow night in Central Park the Enzian Theater will present Invasion of the Body Snatchers. This is a fun evening in Winter Park where you will be able to watch the free movie in the park. You may want to pack snacks or dinner for your enjoyment during the movie. The movie starts at 7:30 and don’t forget to bring your blanket.

This year is the 20th anniversary so they have pulled out all the stops to make this one horrifying experience. This event is a great way to get frightened this Halloween. This year they will have 8 new houses where you will enter into the horrors. In one of the six scarezones you will be spending Marti Gras with Zombies.
These haunted houses and scarezones are not child’s play so be prepared to be scared. This is one Orlando Halloween event you don’t want to miss.
Get ready for Halloween in Orlando at Painted Oaks this October. They are currently open for pumpkins 7 days a week from 9am to 6pm. They get pumpkins from Connecticut, Massachusetts, Michigan and Wisconsin and then they lay them out around the oak trees so you can choose the perfect pumpkin for your family. Harvest weekends start on October 10th and are every weekend until October 31st (Saturday & Sunday only). During the weekends there will be free admission, a petting zoo, and Pony & hayride combos for $10.00.
The Pumpkin & Ponies Festival will be October 23rd – 24th from 9am until 6pm, there is free admission for this event. There will be pony rides, hay rides, games, face painting and crafts for the kids. There will be a live band for your enjoyment and food offered for sale. You will also be able to watch different types of horse demonstrations which will include Dressage, English and Western. This is one Orlando event your family will not want to miss.
Enjoy a night of Cajun food right her in Orlando at the Crooked Bayou. Start the evening off with Fried dill pickles or buffalo fries. For dinner they offer many Cajun specialties including, jambalaya, gumbo, po’boys, and free range Cajun chicken sandwiches.
