Did you know that just outside of Orlando in Winter Park FL you can find the most comprehensive collection of works by Louis Comfort Tiffany. While visiting the Morse Museum you will be able to marvel at jewelry, pottery, paintings, and art glass designed by Tiffany. His works are housed in 3 different galleries, so you will be sure to enjoy each piece including the Madonna and Child leaded glass window circa 1890.
The museum is also home to a American Decorative Art and Sculpture including almost 500 Rookwood pieces. There are also paintings from Samuel F.B. Morse, John Singer, Rembrandt Peale, and many other. Experience some beautiful art near Orlando this summer.

365 Orlando 104. Dig for fossils at Dinosaur World

Dig for authentic fossils near Orlando at Dinosaur World. Here children ages 3-12 can be real paleontologist and dig for fossils in the sand, they will be able to take home 3 fossils. Some of the things that they might find include amber, Sea urchins, sharks teeth, coral, and ammonite. After you finish digging you can head out to the Skeleton garden and see dinosaur skeletons and a paleontologist field work site. Then head over and see over 150 life size dinosaurs you will be able to learn about each dinosaurs through signs.
You may be hungry after see all this so remember to bring your picnic lunch and eat in the caves or outside in the picnic area. Once you all are full head into the museum and learn even more about the dinosaurs. Before you leave make sure you hit the playground to let the little ones run around before you head back to Orlando.
