365 Orlando: 90. Experience the History of Aviation
July 7th, 2010 by tisnerCome visit Fantasy of Flight, which is home to more than 40 rare and vintage aircraft. But wait this Orlando exhibit is much more than just seeing vintage aircraft. Many of the planes have been restored to flyable condition, which you will be able to see at the Aerial Demonstrations. You will even be able to see where the restorations take place on the Real Restoration Tours. These restorations are done with extensive research and care. As you continue to explore the exhibits you will be awed by the B-17 walk-through, where you will be able to see what it was like on a World War II bombing mission. Learn about the courage of the Tuskegee Airman in this multi-media exhibit called They Dared To Fly. And also learn about the Women Airforce Service Pilots who left their families during World War II to serve as the first American women flyers for the U.S. military. You can also test your skill of flying in the simulator and other interactive exhibits.
Fly on over to this wonderful art deco facility to experience the Fantasy of Flight which is truly a real Orlando experience.
