The popular cast of Wanzie’s LADIES OF EOLA HEIGHTS, presented at The Abbey in the Summer of 2014, returns with COURT ORDERED THERAPY: The Ladies Of Eola Heights Continued. Original cast members Peg (Opal) O’Keef, Beth (Pearl) Marshall, Sam (June) Singhaus, and Blue (Ruby) Star will be joined by Kevin Kelly playing Dr. Robert Burroughs, who is charged with determining the mental stability of Orlando’s infamous Locksdale sisters following a domestic squabble that leaves Ruby with a broken wrist, and Pearl and Opal at complete odds with one another. The action takes place during the court ordered therapy sessions in which the sisters, who are at first uncommunicative, wind up hurling accusations and barbs at one another to hilarious and surprising ends.

The summer storm season is here and there are things that you may need to do to prepare your home for them. In this blog post today we will give you a few tips on how to prepare your home for the upcoming storm season.
First, fix any damage the past winter has done to your roof. You may need to replace a few shingles or you may even have to replace the entire roof. Hire a professional if you don’t know much about how to fix your own roof. You don’t want storms coming if you have damage to your roof because you may end up with damage on the inside of your house as a result.
Check to make sure your gutters are not full of debris and leaves. During the winter months gutters tend to go un-checked. If your gutters are full, the first summer storm that comes your way will most likely cause you and anyone who enters your home to get a hat full of rain water. Take care of things like this before storm season arrives and you will be glad you did.
Have a professional come out and check to make sure your trees are secure. Make sure the professionals cut down all trees that may have issues and get rid of any loose limbs. You don’t want tree limbs flying through the air during a summer storm.
If you have a sump pump, make sure it is working and perhaps even get a battery powered back-up so that your pump will continue to work in the event the power goes out.
Make sure that your windows are good and secure and that there are no areas in which water can get inside them. If your windows are older you may consider replacing them.

Fireworks at the Fountain inDowntown Orlando is Orlando’s bestfirework show on Independence Day outside of the theme parks and draws a big crowd so arrive early to secure a good viewing spot.
Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer invites Central Florida residents and visitors to attend Fireworks at the Fountain on Saturday, July 4, 2015 at Lake Eola Park in Downtown Orlando. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early in order to find a great viewing spot. The night will conclude with a patriotic firework display over Lake Eola, which will begin at 9:10 p.m.

In May, Orlando foreclosure filings were 21% lower than the previous month and 43% lower than the same time last year, according to RealtyTrac.com.
