In January, the number of properties that received a foreclosure filing in Orlando, FL was 11% higher than the previous month and 51% lower than the same time last year, according to RealtyTrac.com.

Orlando foreclosures were 0.13% above national statistics, 0.07% below state figures, and 0.01% below Orange County numbers in January.

Pre-foreclosures accounted for 30.2% of the foreclosure activity in January, Auctions 39.5%, and Bank-owned properties 30.3%.
