If you’re like me,  you are always looking for ways to put more hours in your day. I discovered my iPhone has a built-in assistant…Siri! This little utilized and clever feature can make the life of a real estate agent much less complicated.

Here are 5 of my favorite ways to use Siri:

1. Set reminders for locations: Set up your home, work and listing locations and then you can tell Siri “Remind me to take the lock-box when I leave” or “Remind me to install the sign rider when I get to 123 Any Street.”
2. Convert measurements: Much quicker than using a calculator, if your client thinks in metres and you think in feet and inches “How many metres in 120 feet?”
3. Find holidays: Will that closing date fall on a holiday?  Ask Siri.
4. Schedule a meeting with a contact: Quickly add appointments to your calendar, “Schedule a meeting with Jane Smith at 4pm on Wednesday.”  Siri will even email Jane a confirmation.
5. Find a restaurant nearby: Looking for a place to grab a quick lunch? Ask Siri to find the best restaurant for a burger and it will search Yelp for good reviews close to your location.

Visitors to Orlando come from all over the world but where do our permanent residents come from? The folks at Spokeo people search put together cool graphics for all major cities based on incoming cell phone area codes. You may be surprised to know exactly who’s leading the migration to Orlando.

The undisputed leader is Georgia, which is the top donor state overall and has four of the top five cities. Close behind are New York, Connecticut, Tennessee and New Jersey.

Cities that top the list for migration into Orlando are a surprise after seeing the state list. Georgia claims the top four spots followed by 4 cities in New York. These top spots are followed by cities in Illinois, Texas which don’t even rank in the state list.
