Check out the fireworks displays around Orlando this July 4th. The theme parks will be lighting up the sky with fireworks shows at three of the Disney parks, Sea World and Universal Studios. The fireworks start at Magic Kingdom at 9pm followed by the “Main Street Electrical Parade” of lights, music and magic at 10 p.m. Disney’s Hollywood Studio’s start theirs at 9:50 pm to a rock n roll soundtrack. Epcot’s normal fireworks will be supplemented with a patriotic finale which starts at 10 pm. At Sea World you can enjoy the 13th Army Band perform at Bayside Stadium before the fireworks, the performance starts at 9:45 pm. If you want something a little different, this year head out to Universal Studios where they will be putting on a show which includes projection technology with lasers along with pyrotechnics.

Want to see some of the coolest cars in Orlando? Then head on out to Old Town Saturday night for some classic car cruising. They usually have an average of 300 cars from 1974 and earlier cruising around Old Town. You will see hot rods, street rods, and antiques, which will take you back in time. The cruising starts at 8:30 pm but there are so many other things to do at Old Town that you can make a day of it. You can start out with some shopping at the many different stores. Then hit the amusement rides that have something for everyone, like its Happy Days Family Go-Kart Track. They also have rides for the adventurous like the Windstorm Roller Coaster and the Super Shot. The Sounds of Summer Series starts off with a Vienna Roast on June 28 at 7pm. Head into Downtown Orlando for this wonderful summer music series with the Orlando Philharmonic in the Margeson Theater. You will enjoy the lovely sound of violinist Tamas Kocsis, as soloist, in one of his last performances before he leaves the Orlando area in August. This program will highlight the music of Vienna in the 19th century, during this time period the Viennese believed that life was good no matter what else was going on around them. And this way of thinking was brought to life through music, so come out and enjoy this evening with the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra.
Ever wanted to stomp grapes to help make wine? You can at the Harvest Festival held annually at Lakeridge Winery near Orlando. This festival is fun for the entire family with grape stomping and over 80 local artists and crafters displaying their works. You can also sit back and relax to the live music. Don’t worry about getting hungry because their will be variety of food available for purchase along with Lakeridge wine, and soft drinks.

Arena football is back in Orlando, come see the Predators take on the Jacksonville Sharks on June 18, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. Arena football is an exciting fast paced game that is similar to outdoor football but played on a small field which results in higher scores. The game is played in four quarters with eight players on the field. The ball can bounce off the walls and still be in play.
