So The Orlando Avenue Top Team was happy to read that the number of hospital beds will increase from the 150 of the present time to somewhere between 265 and 300 when the new tower is built. We are also glad there will be parking deck. Plans call for it to hold 850 cars, which is a good number.

Six of them are elementary schools with a capacity of 830 students each and three are middle schools with a capacity of 1,215 students each. To put it another way, 402 new classrooms and 8,625 new seats are being added. Orange county is the 12th largest school district in the country.

The Anguilla Top Team loves the Anguilla Tennis Academy

El Buen Consejo – The Good Counsel

This story has captured the imagination of The Anguilla Top Team and we pass it along to you. El Buen Consejo was a warship attached to a fleet of 13 merchant vessels and 3 other warships leaving the port of Cadiz, Spain and going to the western gulf of Mexico at Vera Cruz. Aboard this ship were 50 Franciscan missionaries whose ultimate destination was in the Philippines. El Buen Consejo did not survive – the ship sank to the ocean floor and the cargo, including the religious artifacts of the missionaries, were dashed against the rocks.

In 1986, Mr. Leander "Bull" Bryan, a well-known Anguillan figure, located remnants of the shipwreck on the Atlantic side of northern Anguilla. He decided to explore – and only to explore. Thanks to his foresight, the Government of Anguilla has been able to designate the site as an Underwater Archeological Preserve. It is part of Anguillan maritime heritage. More on the story of El Buen Consejo, including a map of the area and photos of the devotional medallions, can be found at the website.  The medallions are one-of-a-kind and divers are encouraged to live by the creed: Take only pictures, leave only bubbles.
